Recently I just returned to Malaysia from Tibet and had a 10-day and 9-night trip. This trip was really enjoyable. We spent only RMB 6,580 per person on the entire itinerary, and visited the most popular attractions such as Lhasa, Yamdrotto, Namcuo, Linzhi, Everest Base Camp, and the Potala Palace. The most important thing is to find a very reliable local travel agency full-time foreign guest guide - Yuanyuan. She not only took us to have fun, but also saved a lot of money. If you plan to go to Tibet, but don’t want to do complicated strategies yourself, you can add Yuanyuan’s WeChat to let her design a supporting itinerary for free (Yuanyuan WeChat ID→)15692655018(Click to copy and add friends, and you can customize the play plan for free))Because her service reputation is very good, every time I have a friend who travels to China, I recommend asking her for free consultation.
I am Ajie, a Chinese from Malaysia. I have visited Tibet twice with my best friend and family. We have plenty of time to travel, so we have visited all the main attractions in Tibet without any regrets.Tibet is the most mysterious and worth visiting destination in China~Many friends want to go sightseeing, but don’t know how to plan their itinerary - apply for Tibet application letter and border pass!
If it is your first time to visit Tibet, I will share with you my detailed guide on my personal experience
1:How to choose transportation to Tibet? What month is the best to go, detailed precautions.
2:How to apply for Tibet? What attractions must be visited when traveling to Tibet and how to plan the route?
3:How much does it cost to play? Anti-fraud, super affordable strategy for saving money.
4:Title instructions! Local tour? Free travel? Traveling together?
5:How to deal with alpine disease (altitude sickness)?
6:Travel list, safety guide!
Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and foreign guests to Tibet (recommended must-read)
I have been to Tibet, China twice. First of all, I will tell you very clearly: The famous attractions in Tibet are distributed in different areas. We are consulting local tour guides in Tibet in advance to help with tourism guides.
remind:Foreign guests go to Tibet - Tibet tickets, purchasing Qinghai-Tibet Railway, booking hotels in Lhasa, and applying for Tibet and border defense certificates are all required in advance!
We didn't consider finding a local Malaysian travel agency at that time, so we wanted to travel freely and planned to travel for 12 days and 11 nights. We did a lot of strategies ourselves and were dazzled. In the end, the budget was about 20,000 yuan per person, which felt a bit unprofitable.
Later, a good friend who had been to Tibet recommended the Tibetan planner tour guide Yuanyuan. She is a tour guide who specializes in receiving foreign guests and Chinese quality tours to Tibet. She helped us plan the travel routes, purchase the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, apply for collections, book hotels, chartered cars, tour guide services and book tickets. She made her booking the whole process. We were only responsible for the flight tickets from Malaysia to Chengdu, China. (Because the departure city is different, it is most convenient to arrive in which city you need to fly. I suggest asking Yuanyuan’s tour guide)
The quote from the tour guide Yuanyuan:Tibet's 12 days and 11 nights per person is less than 8,500 yuan per person(The fees include: customized private group routes, separate chartered buses, 24-hour pick-up stations for a dedicated person, 11 nights of 4-star hotel accommodation, tickets to all attractions, Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Tibet application form + border protection permit, meals, tour guide service),No travel shopping or forced consumption, save us a lot of money and take many detours! I am particularly grateful to Akun for making us have a great time this time. I would like to highly recommend the tour guide Yuanyuankun to everyone!
Because her service is great, I recommend adding to friends who want to travel to Tibet to consult on WeChat. Even those who plan to travel freely can chat and consult on Tibet. For example, the application policy for Tibet, weather conditions and precautions, travel guides can be consulted for free.
I posted Yuanyuan’s WeChat account below, and I was able to walk on many friends when I went out. I wouldn’t suffer any losses if I asked more questions!

Share the 12-day supporting itinerary as follows:

After arriving in Lhasa, we picked us up directly at the city's luxury oxygen supply hotel and paid the remaining group fee after signing the formal travel contract. (It is not recommended that you go shopping and take a hot bath on the first day. You should rest more when you go to the plateau area for the first time and follow the advice of the tour guide. Otherwise, you will easily get dizzy when you are altitude sickness and you can also ask Yuanyuan to give you medicine to prevent altitude sickness)

This is my recommended 12-day Tibet itinerary. If you don’t have enough time, you can customize it privately and plan the supporting itinerary reasonably according to your holiday. We booked this 12-day and 11-night itinerary. It saves 40% more than a free trip. It is affordable and has a very cost-effective performance! Because Yuanyuan and her company have been in Tibet for fifteen years and have cooperated with various local scenic spots and hotels in Tibet. Only their company has the right to receive foreign guests, so they can help you get it at a very low price. This is also one of the important reasons why I recommend Yuanyuan to you, save money!
3: Tell me why I chose Yuanyuan to help me plan my itinerary?
1, you can pick up the station for free, and you need peace of mind to go to a strange environment, especially when we are girls
2, save a lot of money than playing by yourself, and you can save 30% to 40% after all.
3, help us apply for Tibet for free, purchase Qinghai-Tibet Railway trains, and purchase return flight tickets!
4, arrange your itinerary in advance, and four-star hotels, and you can also stay in the hotel and have a safe visit to a strange place. Book in advance and don’t worry about the price increase of the hotel, don’t worry about how to play, let alone not worry about not being able to buy tickets to scenic spots
5, More freer than traditional group tours, you can sleep in without getting up too early, you can go to the scenic spot to play as long as you want
6, full-process housekeeper service, any problems along the way can be solved as soon as possible
7, The advantage of directly contacting local tour guides is that their service is better, saving Singapore travel agencies from making profits of the intermediate price difference, and the most important thing is that the price is more affordable and the service is better.
8, Because the hotel, car, and tour guide are all owned by Yuanyuan and their company, they also cooperate with major scenic spots all year round, so they have a lot of discounts than bookings for our travel agencies.
Friends who plan to visit Tibet can consult her in advance. Not only is she beautiful but she also has a kind heart.
Yuanyuan is an outstanding tour guide and Tibetan civilized tour guide in Lhasa City, with a guaranteed reputation. I remember when I added it, it was recommended by Ajie, Malaysia, and asked her to give her a free guide and the best price!
Must-visit attractions:Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Basuncuo, Nangabawa Peak, Ranwu Lake, Laigu Glacier, Yamdroyongcuo, Mount Everest, Namcuo, these scenic spots are worth visiting, because we have been to Aliga Rinpoche with friends for the first time, and I felt that Yuanyuan received us well, so I went to all the famous attractions this time. I personally think everyone can plan a reasonable itinerary based on their holiday time!
【Precautions】
★ Foreign guests must apply for Tibet to apply for Tibet (books) in advance, otherwise they will not be able to enter the Tibet area.
1: Application for Tibet - Instructions for Tibet by train and plane:
★All Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries need to apply for a border defense certificate when traveling to Ali and Mount Everest in Tibet. Even if you hold a special zone passport, no matter whether you have been to Tibet, you need a border defense certificate when you go to Mount Everest and Mount Everest and Ali.
★When planes and trains enter Tibet, foreign guests and Taiwanese friends all need to apply for Tibet application letter (application form) in advance. We only provided our passport to Yuanyuan and gave us 15 days to apply. For specific processing methods, please consult the tour guide Yuanyuan who handled us.
★The safety inspection specifications of Qinghai-Tibet Railway Railway are in accordance with aviation specifications. No matter suitcases or personal belongings, lighters, knives, finger clippers, sharp knives, etc., are not allowed to be carried on the car.
For aircraft luggage inspection, controlled knives/flammables are strictly prohibited from carrying them. If alcohol is not opened, one or two bottles can be checked. Liquid cosmetics are limited to a single bottle of less than 120ML. The specific quantity depends on the airline regulations. For power banks carried on the trip, the battery rated energy should not exceed 100Wh, otherwise it may be prohibited from carrying them with you.
★It is very complicated to book tickets for hotels and attractions with a passport. It is recommended not to book by yourself. Ask a tour guide to help you book more than twice the price.
★Local specialties should be consulted first before purchasing, because many Chinese specialties cannot be brought out of customs.
★The application letter for Tibet needs to be processed at least 15-30 days in advance. If you are planning to travel to Tibet, you must send the information as soon as possible.
How to choose transportation to Tibet? What month is the best time to go there and how to apply for Tibet?
Recommended transportation methods to Tibet (hereinafter referred to as Tibet):
1: Airplane
Most international flights do not directly reach Lhasa, Tibet, and they need to transfer from Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha and other places in China. Because it involves the application for Tibet, we contacted the tour guide Yuanyuan in advance to help handle it before we left before shopping for the air ticket. The general application period is 15-30 days (foreign guests must apply for the application before going to Lhasa). Therefore, when it comes to purchasing a plane, it is recommended that you apply for the Tibet letter before checking for the purchase. (I also asked Yuanyuan to help buy air tickets in China, because we were not convenient to buy them in Malaysia at that time)
2: Recommended trains to Tibet:
If you are going to Tibet for the first time, it is highly recommended to go to Tibet. Experience the Qinghai-Tibet Railway with the highest sea waves in the world. The most shocking thing on the way is Qinghai Lake-Tanggula Mountain-Kunlun Mountain-Golmud-Northern Tibetan Grassland. Various snow-capped mountains and grasslands, and the beautiful lake scenery will be unforgettable in my life!
The train to Tibet must be purchased in advance, otherwise it will not be taken. The train to Tibet is also the most difficult train ticket to buy in China. You need to consult a tour guide in advance to help you purchase. The family can lie down and see the scenery. A comfortable and quiet environment is a good way to travel!
Recommended train schedules: Z264-Guangzhou to Lhasa, Z165-Shanghai to Lhasa, Z21-Beijing to Lhasa, Z223-Chongqing to Lhasa, Z322-Chengdu to Lhasa, all trains will arrive in China's northwest city - Xining, and you will transfer to aerobic trains in Xining: Because Xining has officially entered the Qinghai-Tibet Railway section, the beautiful scenery of the plateau journey has officially begun!
【About how to prevent alpine disease? 】
Will there be (alpine) altitude sickness when going to Tibet?
This is the most common problem, but it is not as serious as expected. Generally, at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, the human body will have a slight reaction. For example, the heartbeat is faster, the breathing is faster, and the headache is mild. This is all very normal
Generally, people with higher chances of altitude sickness, including smokers, people with asthma, heart disease, and high blood pressure, are also more likely to have alpine symptoms. Another special situation is that people with strong muscles and high oxygen demand, and are more likely to develop alpine disease.
However, if you have altitude sickness, just pay attention to rest and maintain a good attitude. For example, before going to Tibet, you should not drink alcohol, it is not easy to exercise, and it is not easy to take a bath and wash your hair on the same day, it is not easy to run, and it is not easy to be too excited. We asked Akun to book an oxygen supply hotel in advance and gave us handheld oxygen. I feel that alpine disease is not that serious!
【Travel list about Tibet】
Must bring sun protection and moisturizing daily necessities: sunglasses, sun protection clothing, sunscreen/sun protection spray, skin cream, and lip balm.
Travel preparation medicines: alpine medicine (you can find Yuanyuan to give it), cold medicine, laryngeal medicine, trauma medicine, etc.
Electronic products: essential for mobile phone cameras, power banks, spare batteries, storage cards, roaming mobile phones, socket converters.
Clothing carrying: The weather changes greatly in the plateau area. You should prepare a down jacket when going to Mount Everest in autumn and winter. Thermal underwear, etc. For specific weather conditions, please consult the tour guide in advance.
Food carrying
Many guide bloggers are talking nonsense. Personal experience, you must carry high-calorie foods (chocolate, milk candy, oral glucose, etc.)
If you take the Qinghai-Tibet Railway train to Tibet, because you will spend about 40 hours on the train, you can prepare more snacks and instant noodles you like, and hot rice and light meals will also be sold on the train!
Because time is limited, my introduction may not be so detailed. If you want to know a very comprehensive travel guide and a tip for knowledge to go to Tibet, please consult our tour guide Yuanyuan
Share Yuanyuan’s contact WeChat15692655018(Click to copy and add friends, and you can customize the play plan for free)
【Faith and Nation】
Because most Tibetans believe in Buddhism, they reveal the influence of Buddhism in all aspects of their lives. Tibetans are very loyal, honest, and hospitality. As long as they respect their customs and habits, it is very safe to travel in Tibet. Remember not to touch the heads of children; do not discuss their religion and politics in Tibet, and turn clockwise when turning the scriptures; take it with both hands when accepting Hada. If the other party directly puts it on your neck, please do not take it off immediately!
【Food recommendation】
Recommended tastings of Tibetan food: butter tea, tsampa, Tibetan noodles, hand-grabbed mutton, yak meat soup pot, barley wine, sweet tea, Tibetan yogurt, yak jerky, stone pot chicken (these are all the delicacies that our tour guide Ayan took us to taste)
【About check-in at the hotel】
We booked a tour package 40 days in advance, so Yuanyuan booked us a very satisfied hotel (and the price was very affordable)
Hotel accommodation: Look at the picture (Because I was afraid of Gao Fan Yuanyuan specially booked a hotel for us for a few nights, and the environment was very good)
【How to avoid pits】
When traveling in Tibet, don’t believe that you get what you pay for when traveling too cheaply. We did not have any forced shopping throughout the whole process, and we chose a private customized chartered car tour, and we were all famous attractions, so we did not waste any time. If you choose Malaysia to sign up for the tour, you will not only have to wait for the tour period, but you may spend more money and take more detours. So, finding a reliable local tour guide is really a choice to get twice the result with half the effort.
My personal experience tells you that when traveling to Tibet, you should try to find local tour guides in Tibet to plan the most affordable itinerary, so as to save Malaysian travel agencies from making the difference between the price, and directly connect with the tour guide. More importantly, if there is any problem, please let the tour guide help solve it. So here I would like to give our tour guide Yuanyuan a thumbs up. Not only will the supporting itinerary be planned for us before departure, but the service is also great after arriving in Tibet. The fees are paid only after signing a formal travel contract after arriving in Lhasa, Tibet. It is a safe and professional and great trip.
I’m here to give a small advertisement for the tour guide Yuanyuan, hoping to help more friends who love traveling.

The tour guide is very enthusiastic and the service is pretty good. I have contacted you and am helping with booking flight tickets. Thank you for your recommendation
I have been chatting on WeChat for more than a week, and I feel that my attitude is pretty good. I feel that she is helping you with great care or not. We finally decided to follow the itinerary recommended by the tour guide Yuanyuan. The intuition told me that this trip would not disappoint me (^ω^) is very good!
Tibet has always been the tourist destination I want to visit the most. I also contacted several online for comparison. Finally, I adopted the blogger's sharing and chose to contact the tour guide directly for consultation. To help plan your itinerary and make reservations for tickets for hotels, we are only responsible for purchasing round-trip air tickets. The arrangement is really great.
The benefits of contacting a tour guide directly; clearly marked prices, there are not so many routines, which saves money and worry more than what you arrange yourself. A formal company with integrity, reputation and service is also better. The most important thing is that the route is fun, the attractions are beautiful, and the arrangements are reasonable.
Can a tour guide receive Chinese in Singapore? I plan to take my family over for about two weeks.
Because we have to wait for the tour period to register in Taiwan, which is very long and the cost is relatively expensive. In fact, we are also very clear that some of our local travel agencies in Taiwan will also hand it over to local travel agencies in Tibet to receive the tour, so we chose the tour guide Yuanyuan, which has a great reputation and service in Tibet, to design supporting plans for us. We just returned from a trip to Tibet last week. The service of the tour guide Yuanyuan is really very good and the itinerary arranged is very satisfactory. Highly recommend her service and warm reception! Those who go to Tibet can contact Yuanyuan directly on WeChat
